ATCC has been awarded a major contract from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to support the agency’s infectious diseases and biodefense research.
“We have provided essential, authenticated biological materials and services to academia, industry and government initiatives for decades.” said Mary Nicholson, Senior Director BioServices, a division of ATCC. “Through this program,” she continued, “ATCC will provide NIAID with the infrastructure for the development and evaluation of vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics,”

ATCC in located is Prince William County’s Innovation Technology Park, the largest and fastest growing life sciences cluster in Northern Virginia.
